Electricity generation from biogas is based on the process of "anaerobic digestion", which is a natural transformation of organic wastes such as animal or plant wastes, and obtaining two separate products from this process. The first product is clean gas called biogas, which enables electricity to be produced from a gas engine; The second product is high quality fertilizer for use in the fields. The difference between biomass and biogas power plants; The gas produced in biogas power plants is the result of the physical burning of wastes. The boiler used to burn the waste is the same as the boilers in coal power plants. Therefore, all kinds of garbage and waste can be burned in biomass power plants.

Biogas is an environmentally friendly energy source. Therefore, the use of organic matter-based biogas, known as green fuel, is more important in preventing environmental pollution in developing conditions. Since the raw materials used for biogas production are produced in agricultural lands, it can provide a significant benefit in agricultural enterprises, both for heating greenhouses and housing structures, and for use as fuel for tractors. The biogas used in this way significantly reduces operating costs.

BIOGAS / BIOMASS POWER PLANT

BME ENERJİ provides services for biogas power plant systems, primarily from strategic partnership and service contract, to detailed site analysis, permit conditions for zoning and preparation of environmental approvals. In addition, it provides full service in the stages of raw material analysis and characterization, biogas plant simulation and energy production evaluations in line with these data, and determination of appropriate scale investment.
